Welcome To Makin’ Wavez Swimming Academy

Here at Makin’ Wavez Swimming Academy, we focus on water safety and swimming skills for children as well as adults. We teach the basics of water safety that all children should know, as well as more advanced water skills, till they are able to swim unattended.

Water safety is an important part of growing up, since we have so many water resources in South Africa and swimming pools are commonplace. Accidents around pools happen every day, so give your child the gift of being able to help themselves and others, if they find themselves in difficulty.

“These swimming classes were a lifesaver for my child. When Johnny vanished one morning, we found him happily swimming in the pool. Without the lessons, he would surely have drowned!”
